Our Yearly Livestream Retrospective

We have moved our yearly retrospective to July instead of August. This is when we take a look back at our favorite performances from the year. It's a lot more interactive as we won't be physically playing but talking about the songs and why we chose them as well as chatting with you all in real time.

Roman's early online birthday bash

We have changed the date and format of our August Livestream concert. We won't be able to do his birthday show in September as we'll be touring. Instead of our retrospective which will now be in July, this will be Roman's special birthday concert where he gets to choose all of the songs and tell us why. The show will also be ONE WEEK EARLIER on July 24th so as not to interfere with Labor Day celebrations.

Authentic is the word most often used to describe Gypsy Soul and their music. The duo's multicultural heritage helps inform both their message and sound, attracting audiences with their soulful blend of Acoustic Rock, Pop, Blues and Jazz. 

But it's the stories about the songs and their experiences traveling both the country and the world as first generation immigrants (from first generation immigrants) that makes their shows so personal and memorable.

Over the past two and a half decades, Gypsy Soul has had a Top 40 hit with “Silent Tears” and has won numerous songwriting and performance awards including the International Acoustic Music Awards, Just Plain Folks and the Independent Music Awards among others.

The duo has opened for artists such as The Doobie Brothers and Edie Brickell & The New Bohemians, has been featured on compilations with Shawn Colvin, Keb Mo and Aimee Mann, and has had their music placed in hit TV shows and motion picture films such as Providence, Felicity, 90210, Roswell, After Sex and Quick Sand among others.
