We are thrilled to announce that our CD, "Beneath The Covers: A Rediscovery," has just won Best Cover Song CD in the Just Plain Folks Music Awards - (AKA Independent Grammy's) which incidentally is the largest international music awards event in history. The award process took over 17 months with 10,000 music industry professionals judging 560,000 songs and 42,000 CDs. An amazing endeavour. We are proud to be a part of this awesome organization.

SPRING TOUR:
I think we have toured during my birthday for the past 12 years and truly, "what could be betta than to celebrate with you all?" Tempe, Cave Creek, Redwood City here we come...again! We are so excited to hit the road at the end of March to soak in some sun and get to hang out with old friends. Oh yeah, and pluck out a song or three while we are at it.

Thank you all for making 2008 our most successful year of touring and CD sales to date. We had more sold out shows in more states than ever before. You guys rock!!!
We are just now getting much of our 2009 touring schedule together and wanted to remind you that we are always open to including House Concerts in our schedule. Please let us know if you'd like information on how to host a house concert in your town. We'll be there with bells on!
We are working on a number of new projects including a collaborative CD with our friend author/photographer, Eric Alan. See www.wildgrace.com for some of his previous work. Also, with the intention of ultimately creating a gorgeous Artist in Depth performance/mini documentary DVD, we are doing some ongoing filming with our buds, Laney D'Aquino and Austin VanCampen of the Ashland based, Illustrated Sandwich Productions/Denizen TV. FAN WEEKEND 2008:
Our last fan weekend was an absolute blast. We couldn't believe that almost 40 people came from out of state and joined all the Oregonians! The winery concert was one of our all time favorites and was completely sold out at 300+! Thanks for being guinea pigs with the new songs! The jet boating was too much fun and the Applegate River Lodge dinner/concert was just perfect! Thank you to everyone who participated in making this our most highly attended fan weekend ever! Keep you all posted on next year's events!

I know.. we have been very remiss in our duties as newscasters on the web site. This is not because nothing has been happening; it's because so much is happening that we can't keep up!
So.. as of June 1st, you will hopefully start hearing, "Beneath The Covers: A Rediscovery" on a radio station near you. Actually, some of you may already be hearing it as it has already been added to many stations around the country.
We also finally signed off on the album release date for South Africa and that will be released any day soon. There is even talk of a tour there this year... Watch this space.

Grateful beyond words! On 11/12 Roman,myself and our two friends were in a serious auto accident. A tree fell on top of our Volvo while we were driving. It is a miracle that we all walked out away and with not worse injuries. Roman's staples and stitches came out a few days ago and although he will have a few roguish scars, he is as handsome as ever! Everyone else is doing well and counting our blessings more than ever. Did we mention we were in a Volvo!
In addition to just being so damn grateful we are thrilled to announce a few lovely things going on:
1) We just signed one of many foreign licensing deals with S. African company, Next!
2) Lovin' Me is a finalist in the Independent Music Awards. Winners announced 1/07
3) GS will be showcasing for ASCAP at Folk Alliance and for PEN Music Group at MIDEM in France in early 07.

Hi Everyone,
We've certainly been more quiet than usual this summer as we've been in the studio for the last few months re-recording BTC: AR. With the new songs and additions, we've created a new CD we hope you will love! A few of the old favorites have stayed, but much of the CD will be new to listeners and all the songs have been remixed and re-mastered. We are expecting to have it available exclusively to GS fans in early Autumn. We will keep you posted.

Gypsy Soul will participate in Seattle's PodCast Hotel Conference February 23-25th, as both performers and speakers at in Saturday's artist roundtable discussion. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
We just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for all of your loving support throughout the year! You are AMAZING!!!
Thank you to all of the people that have e-mailed us with Holiday greetings and good wishes for the New Year. We have been recouping from our tour and have tried to stay away from the computer as much as possible. We will write back... next year! (We have also been writing some new songs!!)

Also, a huge thank you to all the newspapers who kindly chose to feature our concerts as HOT PICKS......10 diffent newspaper features/3 TV and 3 Radio shows on the tour. And a very HUGE thank you to Richard Moeschl for making our Ashland Benefit Concert the cover story! It also happened to be one of the best shows of the whole tour, thanks to all our great guest players!!

No... we haven't gone back in time! The website servers crashed yesterday and this was the last backup that we had.
I will be re-installing the music when we return from our tour next week but thanks to our wonderful friend and web master, Dwayne, we still have a somewhat working site!
Unfortunately, we may have lost a lot of the chat posts... I have no way of knowing until we get back home. Our apologies to anyone who was trying to access the site. Our hearts go out to all of our friends and their loved ones in the South. We can only imagine the horrific situation in which you all are struggling to survive. We hope you know that everyone is praying for your safety and wellbeing. We send much love to you all.

GS is coming to UTAH!!!!! The very first day of sales at the Kenley Amphitheatre in Layton, we sold 327 tickets! Just as well....it holds 2,000, so get hopping Utah fans. The Park City show, June 4th is also heating up. So take your pick and bring a pal. Looking forward to seeing you.

We are so excited to tell you that we have finally finished our latest CD, called Beneath the Covers. It will be available around Thanksgiving. Call 888-2-GET-SOUL to order. This is our first cover song CD and it was created to pay homage to some of the great artists/songwriters who've inspired us along the way. The songs include: Blackbird, Still Water, Sailing (Rod's version), Still haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Don't Give Up, Landslide, Superstion, Country Roads and a surprise at the end. See the latest review on msnbc.com...this was from the cover story which Mark Saal did on Gypsy Soul for our recent concert date in Ogden, UT. He even interviewed Sandy Eborn on why she chose to take on such a huge project as promoting a big concert for us. US Masters Fretless Bass with Puple Heart fingerboard BirdsEye Maple top and Rosewood back
